We’ve maintained for a long time now that Carina Round’s 2001 debut album The First Blood Mystery was one of the most underrated releases of the last decade, so we’re delighted to hear that the Wolverhampton-born, LA-based artist is reissuing said album on limited edition vinyl to celebrate its tenth birthday.
A Pledge Music campaign raised the funds for the release in less than a day, but you can still contribute here for the next 64 days if you want to pre-order a copy and get one of the many goodies that Carina is offering pledgers. These range from t-shirts and handwritten lyrics to a birthday phonecall and, in the top tiers, a private show and photoshoot with her good friend Kristin Burns.
The re-released album will come with additional tracks, new artwork and a songbook.
